The Syndrome Mag is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of raising awareness of gender equality issues through humor and satire. We believe that humor can be used as a powerful tool to inform, educate and entertain. The project started in Italy in 2012 and has since spread worldwide.

We are a community of women from different cultural, geographic and professional backgrounds, not to mention ages, religions and sexual orientations.

Our activity is based on three pillars:

        1. Relevant and funny content:

We create daily content for our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and our online magazine. We keep our audience up to date with the latest news on gender equality and with real stories shared by our international community of women.

        2. Partnerships:

We partner with other non-profit organizations already working under the greater gender equality umbrella to help convey their message with humor and increase their impact.

Are you a non-profit and want to know more? Read about how we have helped other non-profits smash their fundraising targets by writing articles, memes and video scripts, and find out what we can do for you.

        3. Live Events:

We provide live corporate comedy shows that highlight difficult topics relating to gender inequality in the workplace.

Are you a company and want to know more? Learn how we can highlight unconscious bias and spark positive conversations that lead to real change in a non-threatening and entertaining way.
